Update: 7/28/08
Unfortunately we could not return to Wine Lake Camp this year due to the rising cost of gas. So instead we went to Taggart Bay Lodge which was nearly half the distance. We were rather disappointed this place did not come close to Wine Lake. The fishing was pathetic (compared to Wine Lake), we saw very little wildlife, and there was very little even worth photographing. So needles to say I miss Wine Lake Camp. I did manage to snap off a few shots which can be seen here.
Update: 7/1/09
Well another year passes without Wine Lake. Again with the poor economy and the new passport requirement we could not even go to Canada this year. Instead we went to Black Lake in New York. The fishing there was even worse than Taggart Bay. All we caught all week were a few blue gill, perch, and an occasional bass. Then there were tons of other boats and people all over. Well maybe next year we will make the 25 hour trip to Wine Lake. Please help by sending a few bucks. Thanks, Cliff
PS. Ann and Herb if you ever ponder upon this little site maybe you could give us a discount or something. I could even make you a professional promo video! And don't sell out until we make it back at least once!
